Devoted supporters of the actress are urging that a individual who jumped a fence and seized the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared video shows the individual from Australia shoving aside media personnel and lunging at Grande while the cast walked down a event pathway accompanied by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo immediately wrested the surprised actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the event by event staff.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "free after being taken in", though official papers indicated that he was scheduled to attend court on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

Record of Incidents

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account features clips of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at the pop singer's Sydney concert in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last winter.

"There needs to be action applied against him as this is evidently a criminal offence," commented an Instagram user, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" one Instagram user remarked.

Followers Express Concern Over the Star's Past Trauma

Numerous supporters blamed Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the finale of her May 2017 concert in Manchester, killing 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said a further message on Instagram.

Some fans also criticised guards at the premiere for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals requested online networks to remove Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Premiere Information

In videos shared widely, Grande seemed startled when she was touched by the individual. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted comforting her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the rest of the event carried on uninterrupted.

Fans at Wicked premiere
Many of Singapore fans had waited to greet the actors of Wicked

Many of fans had assembled in a crowd of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good regional premiere in a Singapore mall, including a number who had waited for as long as eight hours before it started.

The movie, to be released on 21 November, is the second of a two-part version of the well-known Broadway and West End production Wicked, which focuses on the surprising relationship between two contrasting witches.

The show itself is a spin-off of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was decked out in a light pink sparkling outfit at the gathering while Erivo, who portrays the villainous character, wore a black tube gown decorated with roses.

They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of last year in the UK, and scored ten award recognitions, earning a pair for excellent wardrobe and production design.
