The Secret Organization is set to play a huge role in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, although the major clash isn’t set to occur until the next season, and a cherished, popular member has just been cast.
The streaming service revealed recently that the talented performer is now part of the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will portray Mr. 2. Bon Clay has the ability to transform into an exact copy of any person they’ve touched with their right hand. The actor, who is gender non-conforming and prefers they/them pronouns, will play a rendition of that character re-envisioned as non-binary, instead of as a drag artist, in the real-life adaptation, as in the source material and cartoon version.
The new cast member is joined by several other recently announced actors who will portray Baroque Works to reality, featuring head Sir Crocodile, portrayed by the well-known actor, Sophia Anne Caruso as another operative, and an accomplished actor, who also joins the lineup as the monarch of Alabasta.
Even though the role is a key figure of the group, the persona won’t make their debut One Piece the upcoming installment. Considering the second season likely to portray the Little Garden arc, this represents a significant shift in the timing of their first appearance, one that could signal further changes to the story’s structure.
Their mix of precise humor and emotional depth makes them a ideal selection for the character. In addition to their current animated role in the animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and multiple awards for creating and performing in the popular theatrical show Oh Mary!, highlighting the range they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s highly regarded characters.
The platform’s adapted One Piece program is set to return for its season two on March 10, 2026.
